Cruelty Free Makeup Options

Adelaide Zoller

As vegan and vegetarian lifestyles become more popular, there has been a surge in demand to end animal testing for beauty products. According to the European Union, cosmetic animal testing has been banned in the 28 countries that are part, although the United States still has not followed suit despite the fact that an estimated 100,000-200,000 animals suffer and die every year around the world due to this practice, but there is hope.

More and more celebrities and makeup artists are speaking out about animal testing and makeup companies are going cruelty-free or vegan. Just last year Kat Von D came out and said her beauty products have never been tested on animals and never will be. Her products are now certified cruelty-free and vegan.

Zipped broke down the list of cruelty-free music and compiled an everyday makeup routine using the best products from these companies.
