Channeling this blast from the past reminiscent of our pre-K days, the fashion world has made it known: backpacks, specifically mini backpacks, are IN, and they are a fashion force to be reckoned with!

Designers like Kate Spade featured a line of smooth leather backpacks with gorgeous metallic cross stitching and shiny zippers while Rebecca Minkoff tried to add a twist by using various shades of pastels and fringed leather in her designs.

Tory Burch opted for both color and fun by showcasing her mini backpacks made with colored, smooth leather and shiny tassels, while Burberry and Michael Kors kept it classic by showcasing their iconic brand symbols, Burberry with its ever present plaid, and Kors with the signature MK logo.

Designers aren’t the only ones showcasing this adorable accessory. Celebrities have been seen sporting this fun bag around everywhere from the beach to the streets. Spring fashion week 2016 had many IT girls, like Hunger Games star Isabella Fuhrman, rocking this trend, Fuhrman opted for a studded MCM mini backpack. Supermodel Karlie Kloss was seen donning her black Mansur Gavriel leather backpack as she jumped from show to show.

This look is one that always comes back into style from time to time, and why not take advantage of it. It is cute, comfortable, and oh so easy to recreate, with a style for every girl, and a price for every budget.
