As a big fan of music, movies, and fashion, the MTV Movie Awards are the crème de la crème of Awards Show Season (other than the Oscars of course)! What’s better than seeing our favorite Hollywood stars and starlets grace the red carpet in the hottest styles while getting a glance at the year’s greatest movies. This year was no exception, we got to witness some of the best red carpet ensembles on our favorite celebrities. With styles ranging from plunging necklines, bold black lace ups, and powerful prints, these ladies were dressed to the nines, and we couldn’t have been more excited. Check out some of the best looks that graced the red carpet, and maybe find some inspiration that you can work into your own wardrobe at home!
Kendall Jenner wearing Kristian Aadnevik
We would expect nothing short of perfection from Kendall Jenner, and she came through in this bold Kristian Aadnevik gown. The dress in itself packs a powerful punch by incorporating sheer lace with leather detailing. The DSquared2 lace up sandals are the icing on the cake for this look. Lace-up pieces are all the rage this summer, and Kendall is showing us that you can go one step further with her lace-up plunging neckline to match her stylish lace-up shoes. She may not have been nominated for any awards, but she sure won the red carpet with this look!

Looking gorgeous as ever, Zendaya opted for simple accessories and let her Emanuel Ungara dress do the talking with this bright and bold print. Patterns are another big trend for the summer, and Zendaya is clearly on board, opting for a look that is sleek and sophisticated with a bright pop of neon yellow color. Paired with her black clutch and sexy stilettos, Zendaya is channeling a look we like to call effortless chic!

Channeling a sultry Marilyn Monroe-esque look, Rita Ora donned this sexy black satin dress with a plunging neckline and bold red lip. Ora manages to pull off this growing trend in a tasteful fashion, and gives the appeal of something revealing yet not too promiscuous. Plunging Necklines were a huge runway trend this past fall, and you will be seeing the trend revamped for spring and summer lines. The key to pulling it off as well as Rita Ora, create a look where the neckline is the boldest part of your ensemble, while keeping the rest of the outfit classy and conservative.

While this Australian TV personality may not have much star power, Renee Bargh certainly steals the show in this Natalie Chapman white two-piece suit paired with a choker and nude heels. Her slicked back hair gives this look an effortless cool factor that makes us think she simply just “threw this on.” The plunging neckline is sexy without being too sexy and finishes off with the fashion accessory of the moment, the choker. With minimal color but lots of cool, Renee Bargh simply stuns in this ensemble and adds variety to the red carpet by wearing something other than a designer dress!

Cara is also a girl we can count on to wow us on the red carpet. The former fashion model turned actress slayed the fashion game in this black Balmain one piece with peek-a-boo cutouts. As we have seen, black is clearly a big color this time of year (but when is it not?) and Cara Delevingne rocks the neutral color with just the right amount of sexy. Adding to the outfit, she pulls off a dark lip and very 60s-esque movie star curls. Cara’s red carpet look is truly the epitome of sleek and sophisticated.

Chloe Bridges certainly stood out in her beautiful Lubdila dress, with bright pops of pink and red color. While we certainly loved all the bold black ensembles we saw, it’s refreshing to see a dress with lots of color and a floral print. The dress itself is a statement piece, and Bridges pairs it perfectly with simple white sandals and a casual updo. With just the right amount of cleavage and leg, Bridges finds the balance between sexy and sweet with the perfect ratio of showing skin.
